93 POINTS - HALLIDAY WINE COMPANION
"Off a site in the Willunga foothills; native ferment, with maturation in older French for 15 months. Like the year prior, this is an open and engagingly fruitful expression, while still firmly having a classically savoury nod. There’s a plumpness to the fruit as it draws dried cherry, kirsch, raspberry, woody herbs, anise, dusty earth and a hint of red florals across the palate, the tannin and acid soon coiling that generosity up, finishing with a dry but not drying conclusion. Very good." Marcus Ellis.
A bright exciting wine with a lot of love about it. Lush red fruits on the nose, red cherries and raspberries with a hint of earthy spice. The subtle but defined tannins, coupled with fresh acidity provide a well rounded mouthfeel, that leaves you wanting to come back for more. Open a bottle and you'll quickly be looking for another.
